Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. While she would usually be the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was with SSC King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's also been associated with several game programs. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his wife poet Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School is where she attended and participated in cheerleading. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post had been married before the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They have two daughters. Post's performance as an actress, wife and mother is admired by many.
